Tag Rugby in Rotterdam
Tag Rugby in Rotterdam
Rotterdam Tag Rugby was founded in 2019 by Irish expat Jen who wanted to recreate the community she had found through tag rugby in Ireland and London. She recruited the first players by chatting up people in the most logical place - at Paddy's Irish Pub. The club quickly found a constant stream of players, and grew from 8 players in a gym to a thriving international community with over 800 members on meetup.
Since 2023, Rotterdam Tag Rugby has taken big strides to join the international stage, playing in two to three international tournaments each year, hosting friendly matches against non-Dutch teams and creating their own international tournament.

Our goal is to create an inclusive, welcoming space full of competition and sportsmanship. We are a social club that strives to become the best and most fun tag rugby team we can be.
